The full-color display provides you with current temperatures and humidity, along with a future forecast indicating whether it will be sunny, rainy, or snowy. It features accurate, self-setting atomic time and date with automatic updates for daylight saving time. The weather station also records minimum and maximum values and alerts you of extreme temperatures, as well as displaying the heat index and dew point. It will indicate when the battery is low and show the reception strength. Batteries are required but not included.

Explanation of Weather Station Factory Restart: Performing a factory restart can return the weather station and outdoor sensor to their default settings and often resolve any issues. Here's how to do it: 1. Remove all power sources from the outdoor sensor and weather station. 2. Press a button on the weather station at least 20 times to clear the memory. 3. Ensure that the weather station is empty before proceeding. 4. Leave both units without power for 15 minutes. 5. Plug the weather station back in and insert fresh batteries into the outdoor sensor. 6. Press the transmit button on the outdoor sensor to send a signal. 7. Keep the outdoor sensor 5-10 feet away from the weather station. 8. When the connection is established, the temperature will appear on the station. 9. Allow the sensor and station to sit together for 15 minutes to strengthen the connection. 10. Do not press any buttons for 15 minutes. For the best transmission, keep the outdoor sensor within 300 feet of the weather station.

Note on Mounting/Positioning the Remote Sensor: Place the remote sensor in a shaded area and the weather station indoors. Wait for about an hour before permanently mounting the sensor to ensure proper reception. Outdoor positioning tips include protecting the sensor from rain, snow, and direct sunlight, mounting it under an eave or deck rail, and avoiding mounting it on a metal fence. Remember that the remote sensor is water-resistant, not waterproof.
