Stay on schedule with accurate self-setting time and date, along with automatic resets for Daylight Savings Time. The station comes with a power adapter for full intensity controls and constant backlight display, or you can operate it with batteries (sold separately) for an on-demand backlight feature to conserve battery life. The station features a digital color forecast with dynamic forecast icons and trend arrows (please allow 7-10 days for barometric calibration). It records HI/LO values for temperature and humidity, which auto-resets daily. Monitor indoor and wireless outdoor temperatures along with humidity levels, and customize alerts for both high and low temperatures as well as humidity levels. The station also offers Dew Point and Heat Index views.

Check out the colorful comfort level color bars that display humidity levels for both indoor and outdoor environments, ranging from 10% to 99% RH. Enjoy accurate timekeeping with the atomic self-set clock available in 12-hour or 24-hour mode, and utilize the crescendo time alarm with a 10-minute snooze. The station also features an auto-reset option for Daylight Savings Time, with 7 time zone settings and a complete calendar date display.

The station is AC powered and comes with adjustable settings for the constant backlight, operating with the included 5V power cord. For backup, you can use 3 AA alkaline batteries (not included) in case of a power outage, with a power-saving feature that only illuminates the LCD backlight when using batteries. The TX141TH-B (any version) requires 2 AA batteries (not included) for operation.
